TURN OVER THE 42 K LOW COST APARTMENT ( PART 4 )

THE TURN OVER PROCESS...




This is the actual plan of the low cost apartment....
Total built area is 660SQFT.

WORKS DESCRIPTION

THE BLUE indicates the plastered ceiling and the cornice area.
THE BROWN indicates cabinet works - the kitchen and the wardrobe.
THE GREEN indicates one of the bedrooms that has been converted into the dining area...
THE YELLOW indicates the wall that has been demolished.

DEMOLISH WORKS
1. To demolish existing wall at the toilet and the bedroom 3.
2. To demolish existing floor and wall tiles at the kitchen area.
3. To demolish existing floor and wall tiles at the toilet.
4. To demolish existing window at the living area.

TILING WORKS
1. To supply and install new floor tiles ( WHITE HORSE ) for the whole house ( existing floor is cement rendered ) including the yard area.
2. To supply and install new floor and wall tiles ( full height ) for the kitchen area ( WHITE HORSE ).
3. To supply and install new floor and wall tiles ( full height ) for the bathroom area ( WHITE HORSE ).

CEILING WORKS
1. To supply and install new ceiling + cornice + downlight at the living area, kitchen, entrance and the circulation area.

CABINETS
1. To suppy and install new kitchen cabinet.

WINDOW AND GRILL

DAY 10 ......100% completed ( CONSTRUCTION only )......
only waiting for the loose furniture coming in...

The final look for the living area....

On off the wall in the living area is painted by red color ( ICI color paint ) for the FUTURE WALL...

The final look for the ceiling at the living area...

One of the room being converted to become the dining area...make it more privacy from the living area....

Apple Green ( ICI color paint ) is use for the dining FUTURE WALL...

The entrance for the circulation area between the dining, toilet and all the room...

The kitchen cabinet after been installed...


Built in wardrobe in one of the bedroom... + the fture wall using the bright orange color ( ICI color paint )

Space Effectively...

INSUFFICIENT OR INEFFECTIVE.

Current Colour Trend....

Neutrals - are still very much with us and seem to be going in a couple of directions, away from or in addition to the beige on beige tonalities, which are still very popular. And there's a reason for this. Neutrals are comfortable to live in, make a great backdrop for adding color or artwork, and can be updated and changed easily.

Retro - as now, not then - is very strong, not only in styles, but in colors. A lot of very real, very bright colors are showing up - lime to pea greens, oranges in various hues, electric blues, true reds, pinks from soft to shocking, and yellows.

Warm to hot colors - reds, reds, on top of pinks, pinks - lots of pinks, on top of oranges, with yellows. It's an exciting palette, which can be used in a muted or very bold way.
